2009 Inaugural event to be staged over Labour Week End
We are very excited to stage the first 8hrs@Jacks over what we hope will be a blue skies Labour week end to celebrate the return of mountain biking in the Wakatipu basin! Come and join us on Saturday the 24th October for a great day of fun!
The 8hrs@Jack's was run last year for the first time and it was a great new event with good music and cammaderie around the 'camp'. This event is set in the environments of Jacks Point, and it takes place on a glorious circuit that is now called the "Straggler's Loop".

A tight finish in the inaugural 8hrs @Jacks mountain bike multi-lap rely event saw top honours in the open individual section go to Andrew Ballantyne from Invercargill who completed 15 laps just 1min 30 seconds ahead of leading Queenstown multisporter Jim Hawkridge.

A new multi-lap relay mountain bike event will be launched at Jack's Point near Queenstown at Labour Weekend (October 24) with a focus on team camaraderie in one of the region's most spectacular locations.
