Expected Growth and Recommended Times |
| 26/01/2010 3:44:25 p.m. |
| |
We are committed to grow the event while still retaining the atmosphere that we were praised for last year, and have retained the wave system allowing for some "room on the track".
In short, the Sport and Elite will start in waves of around 100 bikers first, and time will be allocated for them to have an earlier prize giving than the recreational bikers. Recreationals will start a little later, also in waves of similar size, and finish with a prize giving of their own.
For those who have entered the event last year, we recommend you look at your finishing time, and enter the Recreational, Sport or Elite category accordingly.
Elite times were mostly under 2hrs, Sport 2hrs - 2hrs 30mins and,
Recreational from 2hrs 30mins on upwards.
These are guidelines only and the times in the different divisions varied a lot last year. |
