We have been working hard behind the scenes to have everything ready for a launch of the New World 2010 tour de Wakatipu, and the details are almost all in place.
A new registration system
We will have all our events online entry and the first two are the Women's Tri and of course the tour de wakatipu. This has been a big change for us from last year when the online was handled externally.
Our web master said again yesterday that he is close to final testing, so lets see. I think that you will have the chance to but that special xmas gift - a entry into the tour de wakatipu for your love one.
We have been talking to all the sponsors to confirm that they will be happy to be on board again and they are all enthusiastic. Just waiting for a couple of confirmations.
The course is in good shape, thanks to the work of the Wakatipu Trails Trust and we look forward of course to that awesome ride along the bank of the Kawarau through Cone Peak Station.
