Hi everyone,

and first of all well done!

The Peak to Peak is a very fast paced event which requires all participants to come together for a few hours of intense organised chaos: support crews picking up wet and sweaty gear, team members clambering to get their team bibs, officials trying to glimpse racers' numbers as they fly through transitions....

Looks like there will be snow showers most of the day above 1400m in the morning and lowering about 3pm to below 1000m
Wind will be moderate to strong with gusts of up to 90kph, should be OK running Shadow chair (fingers crossed)

I'd pick snow on the top 2-4km of our road for the downhillers, the uphill bikers will get wet but should miss getting snowed on (unless they go too slow??)

A head to head encounter in The North Face Peak to Peak on Saturday (July 24) saw the defending open champion team Outside Sports (Queenstown), ousted by a dynamic young side fielded by Queenstown’s Fergburger, who crossed the finish line at Coronet Peak in a record time of just over two hours....
