Based in Queenstown, Southern Traverse Ltd is an International Sports Management Company directed by Geoff Hunt and Pascale Lorre, operating a number of different sportive events in New Zealand and overseas since 1991.

Southern Traverse Ltd is internationally recognised for its unique product, its dedication to quality, safe practice and professionalism.

In the New Zealand Tourism Awards 1999, the company won recognition for its achievements with the “Small Operators Award” and has been twice nominated for the Best Events category.

Race Director: GEOFF HUNT, Pioneer, Adventurer and fierce competitor
Elite racer in downhill skiing, New Zealand pioneer raft and heliski guide, kayaker, mountain runner and first Coast to Coaster, Geoff is the man who created adventure racing in New Zealand.

Renowned internationally for both his natural athletic abilities and his amazing course designs, his latest sport endeavour in motor racing saw him place third in the last Dunlop Targa Race.

Company Director: PASCALE LORRE, overall management
Born in Brittany in Western France, Pascale Lorre has a degree in marketing and advertising and has extensive international marketing experience working for leading companies in Europe.

Today she is the managing director of Southern Traverse Ltd and the driving force behind the overall events portfolio. Pascale's role covers a widerange of areas such as corporate sponsorship, finance, worldwide marketing and logistics.

In addition to her hectic workload, she has found time to serve on adventure racing support crews in the ’96 Eco Challenge BC (7th), in the ‘97 Raid Gauloises in South Africa (2nd), and the ‘98 Raid Gauloises in Ecuador (1st), and to have a baby - Nevada.
