We have had a few questions asked so here goes, some more details for you

Q: Can you tell me if you need your grade 2 kayaking cert for the Macpac 8hr adventure challenge?
A: no, it is only recommended. A good kayaking level is all that is needed.
Q: We are looking at doing the 8hr challenge, but see that the run/trek involves some navigation.  What does this mean, do you need to be able to use a compass and follow a map or is it just follow your nose.  Is there a set track or will you be climbing up cliffs ?
A: There is almost no navigation , apart from getting a few meters away from a river bed, to come back on the same track. And no, there are no cliffs for you!

Q: Could you give me information on how long each leg is: - kayaking, mountain biking and the running.
A:  Stage one, the kayaking is 10kms long; stage two, mountain biking, is 21kms long; stage three, running, 9kms long; and final stage four, mountain biking, 11kms long. Briefing sheet is available from the web site.

Q:  Will the prize giving be held in Glenorchy or Queenstown
A: The prize giving will take place in Queenstown, at the Dux de Lux cafe and restaurant, from 10am on Sunday 16th
