Team Paper Plus Queenstown passed the Icebreaker R & R Sport team at the start of the Kawarau paddle and hold a 2 minute lead on the paddle. So far the leading teams are an hour of schedule compare to the predicted race time, and are keeping a fast and consistent pace. After all, Jim Cotter of team Paper Plus Queenstown did let the organisers know he had a meeting today at 6pm in Queenstown!
The other teams are still on the Cardrona to Scrubby Creek mountain bike. |
